Hi Guy's,

It looks like we should have safer ice this Saturday so we will not have the tournament. If we have safe ice after this weekend then we will wait until the Championship event.

IFO would like to welcome FrozenBuckeye to the Pro Staff.

Damien has over 20 years of experience fishing in Central Ohio and will be focusing his reports on Delaware Reservoir in Delaware Ohio.

He looks forward to answering any questions on the lake and on his ice fishing tactics.

Alum Creek Dock Tournaments / Dock tournament canceled this Saturday!

We have reports that there is 4 inches off of the first pull off on Long Island so the dock tournament this Saturday is canceled so we can try and get on the ice.

Please remember that you must check your own ice as it could rain and weekend the ice and duck hunters are known to break through to hunt. Be very Careful!

We will not fish again until the championship unless we lose the ice.

See you on ice.

Congrats to Bertrand for taking down the crappie pot. He drove all the way from Ontario Canada to whoop our butts!

Josh took down the big fish and Saugeye pot with a nice Saugeye.

10 anglers participated Saturday at the Alum Dock tournament powered by Kernan Insurance.

Congrats to Rick for taking down the Saugeye pot and Josh for taking the big fish pot with a nice catfish.

I was able to land 4 crappie to take the crappie pot.

The Columbus Fishing Expo February 12th - 14th 2016 powered by Ram Trucks and presented by Bob Caldwell Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Cabela's and WCOL would like to invite all OGF members to the expo.

Last year was the first event and we would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the event!

We have made improvements to the expo this year which include.

Increased space inside the building for ticket sales and the amount of ticket takers
Advanced online ticket purchase enter immediately
Added more tackle vendors
Added hourly door prizes
Providing floor plan with vendor list and speaker schedule

Nine anglers came out Saturday for the IFO Alum Creek Dock tournament powered by Kernan Insurance.

The fishing was tough again.

Rusty took home first place crappie pot with 3 keepers.

Richard took home 2nd place with 2 crappies since there was no saugeye caught.

Shawn took home the big fish pot with a very nice catfish.

Great Job Guy's!

Next Week Tournament is scheduled for next Sunday due to the Ohio State Game.

This year IFO has 2 dates reserved for IFO members to get together and fish Lake Erie.

This years trip will be guided by IFO Pro Staff member Shon Derr with Epic Ice Fishing Adventures.

We have Sunday and Monday February 7th and 8th reserved and Sunday and Monday February 21st and 22nd.

We will meet up either at Catawba or Crane Creek at 7 am and fish till 5 or 6pm.

The cost per day is $150. You will be provided everything that you will need to have a successful trip. Transportation out and back, shelter, bait, Vexilar, rods and tackle if you need it.

There is 4 spots open each weekend. If you want to reserve a space and go up with IFO than give me a call ASAP. 614-361-5548

A $50 deposit per day is required and is made out to Shon Derr. You pay the balance that weekend. All deposits will be refunded for unsafe ice. If you need to cancel it must be done 2 weeks prior to the weekend you signed up to fish.

Alum Creek Dock Tournaments / Andy takes it all on 11-14-2015

Congrats to Andy for taking all 3 pots today with 4 Crappie weighing 2.8lbs, the Saugeye pot and big fish pot with a 15 1/2 inch Saugeye. Andy won $220. Great Job!

15 guys came out to the IFO dock tournament at Alum powered by Kernan Insurance.

We had 3 new fisherman which was great to see. I hope you all had fun and see you next weekend.

Andy now wants a heads up match against Team USA Angler Scott Albrecht. Are you ready Scott

15 anglers competed Saturday at the IFO Alum Creek dock tournament powered by Kernan Insurance.

Larry D took home the Crappie pot with 5 nice keepers.

Steve won the big fish pot with a nice Cat and I took home the second crappie pot with one 13 inch crappie since there was no Saugeye's caught on Saturday.

It was a very tough day on the docks for the 18 IFO members who came out to the first IFO dock tournament powered by Kernan Insurance.

The weather was great but the fish were non existent. Only 3 crappies were caught and no Saugeye.

Bruce took home first with 1 crappie weighing .61 lbs and he won the additional big fish side pot since quack pot didn't get in and he would have won with this big catfish.

Second place went to Nate since there was no Saugeye today.

Great jobs guy's!

It was great to see everyone and we will do it again next Saturday.
