went to Indian today, late start, I didn't get on the ice until 3:30, I normally try to venture around a bit drilling a few holes in different depths but the cold temps put a damper on how far I wander from my shanty. At days end I caught 3 right at 15" but returned them back for another day, walked off the ice with 2 other guys, they had been there since 6 am, they had there limit of eyes. I caught mine on a vibe, they caught theirs on a pimple. I started marking fish around 4:30 but they just wanted to dance with my jig on the screen so that's when I switched to the vibe to get the reaction bite. 5fow seems to be the magic depth right now for the eyes.
