Title: Camp Perry Sat 03/01/2014
Post by: 1BigIcehole on March 03, 2014, 02:22:04 PM
My son 13 and I had a great day Sat. for his first trip on Erie.
Biggest was 10.5 and smallest was 6.2 caught seven and lost two.

5mi. NNW out of Perry in 20ft of water. Buckshot rattle spoon in perch colors tipped with a minnow. Just past the third pressure ridge north.

When the fish showed on the Vex they bit without hesitation.

Best day ever because I shared it with my son.

The walk was well worth it.

Way to go!  I am sure he will cherish that fishing trip for many years.  I really enjoyed the fishing trip I had with my dad.

I wish I had the cajonies to walk out from there.  Went out of Crane Creek the same day on a 4 wheeler.  6 of us punched our walleye tickets with biggest at about 10.5 # and smallest maybe 3#.  Fished way out near Canada in 32'.
