Went today with my son and fished for trout. Nobody caught any when we were there and the south end still had skim ice.
-
Thanks for the update. Bite was slow on Thur evening. I was there 2 till almost dark and only caught one and lost one. Ice was getting bad. Only 2 others out with me and nothing for them. I think they may have gotten hammerd on
-
Bite real slow but lake is good ice better spots to hit.
-
restocked it on Friday, bite is probably good now
-
Terrible this morning I had ten kids out there and nobody caught a thing including all the others on the lake
-
Sounds like the fishing was slow since Friday. I'm glad for that. Let those fish get acclimated and dispersed. Should be some good fishing this week with less crowds. ;)

Went to Wallace Lake this past Sunday and it was awful. 50 people out there in the snow and all I saw was a couple dink gills caught no trout.
-
Fished today for a few hours. No trout seen one caught. Got a few real small gills.
-
The gills are dinks in there its not worth going.
-
There's some nice fish to be had in there. Iv'e caught some descent crappie's and some real nice largemouths. just gets pressured fish get lock jaw there.
-
Heard a report today people were out on the lake fishing for trout.
-
Went by and it is iced over with about six inches of snow on top but not thick enough to attempt to ice fish.
-
Ice is about 4" thick now. Heard they recently released 1500 lbs. of trout in there and 500 lbs. of bass so should be getting some good foot traffic throughout the weekend.

Couple of guys went out early this morning and tried it today. They did not catch any fish nor anyone around them.
