I made this little device out of plexi that I had laying around at work.  Works great for panning your underwater camera, without spending $50 on a remote panner.  If you're on a budget, cheap, or just like making things yourself like me, it's a great little tool.  Didn't cost me a thing either, except about a half hour of my time.

That's pretty good. I also made one from a 5 gallon bucket lid and a stopper / clothes pin. I drilled a hole in the center of the lid and then cut a slot to it. The lid is flexible so it'll let you run the cord to the hole. Lower the camera to the desired depth and clip the pin on. The pin will hold it at that depth and you can turn the lid to find your bait. Easy to make and very effective to use.

I made one with 3/4" poly foam and a spring clamp and it works good. Last Saterday when we started to get water on the ice it tryed to float around, but the camera did not move.
