For me the first step is using two buckets. The one for the top is cut in half and then slid into the bottom bucket and riveted in place. Gets you up higher and provides more storage. The lid has a whole cut in it so I can slip panfish in stealthfully. As far as storage, I really like the bucket catty from Bass Pro but only after its also riveted in place to keep it from shifting.
I'll second that!. I've had mine for some time now and have NEVER had cold toes, even at -20 wind chill. I will say you ain't gonna drive in them very easily but there much lighter than mouse boots.
