I plan on coming as long as there is ice. Keep us advised of the conditions, with a almost 2.5 hour drive I need to know.

Well I can honestly say that this damn wind is not helping with ice formation. I guess they don't want us to fish this week! :-[

Nimi is still 75%-80% open.  Only ice in the shallow bays and huge waves on the open water.  With the weather forecast I would say it doesn't look good for Sunday.

The nimisila event will be rescheduled, hopefully this weather will straighten up and let us play even if it's for a short season.

That  is correct.  :) Sunday the 7th.......HOPEFULLY!!! ;D ;D

But I think he's asking what will happen since all indicators are that there will be little to no ice at all, let alone any safe ice by then at Nimi.  We'll have to wait for Nate to make the call on that one.  May have to drop an event, since the 12-14 of February is Columbus Fishing Expo and we don't want to conflict with that.  I'm sure Nate has already been thinking of a plan and will let us know soon!  I sure don't want to lose the Nimi event, I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Keep a watch on here,Nate mentioned he was going to keep a eye on the weather and ice conditions. It may be a last minute decision. If today's ice is a indicator it won't be good. Ice was getting bad on the way back in, cracking under us.
