Will the rain on Christmas melt all of the ice?
This is the forecast for Lakeview, Oh:
Thursday: A slight chance of freezing rain and sleet before noon, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 37. East wind between 13 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Thursday Night: Rain, mainly after 9pm. Low around 36. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Christmas Day: Rain likely, mainly before 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Friday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 24. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

There was a decent base when you got out away from the bank at mound wood, it might make the area near the bank a little sloppy
