Anyone caught anything with any size yet? Out of 3 trips to the lake I had one gill big enough to keep and haven't caught a single crappie yet. Fish seem to be skittish and prefer that you don't move your jigs much if at all. Same deal at Grand Lake.

When I was setting up the shanty I saw a saugeye caught a different guy caught a crappie. We got nothing except a runaway bucket. Owner can have back if they tell me what it looks like. It's home made but nice.

I haven't been out yet bryan but I can tell you that last year I had days when I'd catch nothing but small gills all day and then the last hour of light the crappie would go nuts. Maybe something to try.

I've been wanting to try the evening bite haven't had the opportunity yet. I'm either hitting Grand lake tomorrow or heading to Lake St. Clair.
