Title: kiser 1-18
Post by: fishincontrol on January 18, 2014, 09:41:59 PM
Stopped by kiser to check the ice and seen about half a dozen people strung out over the entire east side of the lake. Walked out in the middle of a few shanties and measured the ice at 5" nice clear ice. Had a good powder snow cover. Didn't know if anyone was catching but will probably find out for myself tomorrow

Fishing was slow this afternoon, had alot of looks and not alot of takes.  The ice was 5-6 inches everywhere I drilled.  Maybe better luck after the next polar vortex.

The ice was 6-7" today, found lots of fish in 5' of water with weeds, no biters. Moved to 7-8' of water not as many fish, but they did bite.

It was nice meeting you today Tinguppy. I caught 1 bass and 5 bluegill when I was there in the afternoon. I went back for the last hour of light and caught 6 gills all were nice size. I will be back out Sunday.
