Just ask on this site and many ice fisherman would be happy to teach you about their favorite inland lake. Make some contacts and its all for free and about helping fellow anglers.
I wasn't planing on doing it for my own financial gain, I was going to organize an event and the same rules apply.

I have done some research and I cant find any info on being a "ICE Guide" on inland waters. The email I got from the ODNR only states that it is unlawful to to guide VIA watercraft on inland lakes. I replied with with a more direct question about ice, but it took 5 weeks to get the last reply. I see a lot of people doing it on ice and water but is it legal?

I'm getting ready to make a bracket to hold an old power wheels 12v battery. I hope I can find a bag or have my wife make one.

I have the Fraibill ICESUIT, and it’s great as long as single digit weather. I also have an old Vexilar suit and its great until your butt gets wet. Everyone that I know loves the Clam blue suit.

In less than 1 month all of the ice will be gone for good. How is everyone storing their shanty? I have a clam Yukon and I’m thinking of shrink wrapping with 5mil plastic in hopes to keep mice out of it any other tips for storage of the shanty and fishing gear?

I wish I could go! But I gotta to work Fri-Mon. I had planed on going today but I have a sick kid. Do you have a GPS? I have the reefs way pointed. to get to the good spots is a walk with an almost 6 year old so we only fished the 2 closest reefs to the ramp only yielding a White Crappie and a Channel Cat. Ice is thick 1.5” hard Ice 3” slush 10” good ice.

That's what I got. Should be here tomorrow. I'm going to turn my pond into Swiss cheese by tomorrow night lol. How much oil did you put in your 1st tank of gas? Anything I should watch out for? [/quote]
i think 50:1 gas oil ratio. as far as things to watch for make sure the gas cap is very tight or it will leak. by far this was one of the best purchases I've made this year. 1000 plus holes per tank
