Went out this morning started near main boat ramps. Ice conditions were phenomenal 7 plus inches every where. Fished 2 attractors and in between without any luck at all. Then tried marina caught quiet a few but all were dink bluegill and crappie. Any suggestions? Couldn't get any hits while jigging. All fish were caught dead sticking ?

Hello gentlemen and ladies. Names Lee live in Champaign county. This is my first season fishing on the hardwater. Been out twice so  far on ponds this last week. Hope we get more ice after this rain and warmer temps. Live close to cj brown and 20 mins from kiser lake. Fishing has always been a passion in my life whether its a 1/4 pound bluegill or a 20 pound cat. Have basic equipment and safety equipment thanks to this forum. Have been reading alot about the sport on here and decided its time to join.
