Title: Buckeye Lake Saturday 2/13
Post by: Fuzzygrub on February 14, 2010, 11:55:21 AM
Walleyeguy and I fished off of Fairfield Beach and encountered a tough bite. We jigged in ten feet of water and set tip-ups anywhere from 4-10 f.o.w. We caught about a dozen real nice catfish from 2-5lbs, a crappie, and three big bluegill. No saugeye, but did lose one at the hole. Most came on tip ups, but did pull a couple cats, the crappie, and the bluegill while jigging. The ice was 6+ inches.

I'm glad I stuck to alum, if walleyeguy had trouble catching an eye I know I wouldn't have gotten a bite ( gotta give him props the man can catch the eyes).
