I love to ice fish, BUT i just bought a new boat so im sooomewhat looking forward to spring. sorry guys. Id still settle for another good month and half of hard water though

Like every year we go though this in acouple of weeks we'll be back on the ice.Besides my new aogar came today.

9 inches of black Ice on Indian over the weekend. We ididn't make it above freezing today and it says we won't until at least thursday, that mean we have the possibility of still growing some ice right up until the temps have a daily average of about 40 degrees for 2 straight days.

This is my way of giving you guys hope... if we have ice through the weekend we may keep it around for a while... We just need another good cold snap!

From what i saw at moundwood this past weekend...I will be there trying it on saturday...I will take my time and drill alot of holes...

Just checked th eforecast and as of the 29 it gets back down to 20's as the high and single digit lows up until then it is mid to upper 30's and lows in the 20's it should be ok.....at least I hope so
