Title: Heading out Sunday.
Post by: G.M.T on February 12, 2015, 01:51:45 AM
Hey guys, I plan on heading out Sunday, but I don't know where or what I want to fish.
I've been out fishing for eyes, but still no luck, so I would like to try to hook into my first eye if possible. I fish northeast Ohio, so does anybody know any lakes where the eyes are turned  on?

I'm not ready for a trip to Erie yet, I doubt I will be this year seeing as this is my first year ice fishing.

How close are you to Buckeye Lake? I know there are members here that have had good luck there.

For me it's a two hour drive but I think it would be worth it if you make a day out of it.

I had hoped to go there this weekend but it's not going to work out so one way or another I am going there next weekend.

since you fish n.e. oh. your best bet would be mosquito,it has the best walleye population hands down in this area, can not say if the bite is on though, good luck.
