Thinking about making a pair of ICE ANCHORS for my Clam Nanook to prevent it from tipping. 2 years ago, it tipped a few times, but luckily didn't do any serious damage to it or the gear.
Looking for something that's SIMPLE, EASY & Non-cumbersome
Any Ideas and/or pics for making up a set?

cheap way is to cut a two by four to about 12 inches in length and drill a couple of holes in it and tie through outdoor electrical cord and tie that to your shanty. just auger the holes off the shanty facing into the wind and drop them in their holes. They will lock under the ice and easy to remove when it is time to go

I use 4" self taping course thread screws with a nut driver head a flat washer and a cordless drill.
Cheap enough that if you lose them your not out to much money.
