is any part of the lake ready? wanting to go out but not sure where to go . this is my first ice season in central Ohio and not sure of the lakes around here for ice fishing.

I would say indian if you wanna hit a bigger body of water. I have heard rumors of buckeye but I dont know first hand. Alum and Del are usually a week or two behind some of the other lakes

Thanks for the info, i am hoping to make it to Indian i just have never been there before i would like to get an eye through the ice, have never fished for them through the ice.

Hitch a ride with a member who is going and split the expenses . vibes ,jogging rapalas , and jigging spoons tipped with a minnow head  a minnow on a tip up or dead stick .

I hit the stump field Friday after work but didn't catch any good ones.  I had a hit on a jiggin rap and caught a 8-10 dink gills.  Still was nice getting on the ice for the first time this season.
