Great Day today at Hoover

I met up with Doug Stewart today and he took me out in his boat.

We started on a wind blown point and Doug caught 6 straight largemouth. He finally gave me the same bait and i caught 2 largemouth and a 2 lb saugeye. We also hit a bunch of Crappie. 2 of them were over 12 inches.

good job guys, fishing should be turnin on real nice with the colder weather. Ive been into the crappies ok here, and just been gettin into a bunch of perch. Nothin huge like the jumbos I was in before because Im at a different place but the numbers are good.

Have you ever fished kill deer? i heard they have perch and walleye. I want to get up and try them in my belly boat.

nope never have.
went out today in the rain, bagged 6 nice perch and a few crappies. Perch are 2 feet off the bank in 5 fow eating craws.
