Soft Water Fishing Reports / Lake of the Ozarks

Fished the Everstart Series on lake of the ozarks last week. Had a great time and yes I caught some fish. In practice I was doing pretty good on my tube baits in 10 feet of water that had deep water close. The first day of the tourney I drew a guy that did alot of jerk bait fishing and it was not condusive to my style but learned alot about jerkbaits and the lake it self. The second day I drew a guy from missouri and he was in 4th place. He was fishing shallow around docks with a jig and did well. I did catch 2 late in the day on a wiggle wart but was to little to late I finished 84th out of 136. Well gotta go and start getting ready for Kentucky Lake in 2 weeks and hopefully do better.

Indian Lake / Ice report and eye report

Fist off the ice is getting very soft all over and the edges are starting to show deteriation. So be very careful and take your spud bar. Second the eye bite is slow got out about 4pm till dark and caught 15 dinks between 2 of us and 1 hog that will definately go 6lbs or better.Will post a pic later. Swedish pimples are still the main weapon for me.

Went to CJ today and met up with suageyemarc from the site. Had great time and saugeyemarc was very nice and showed me all the spots and did everything he could to get us on fish but it was not meant to be. I was on Indian later and ratherbe calls me and said he was there to at CJ but never hooked up sorry ryan. well gotta go and get Indian forum you guys need to read this report

Indian Lake / Situation On Indian

Had a pretty good night at the lake caught 4 and 3 dinks I threw back I kept 4 that were no monsters but good eaters all were 15 1/2 inches to 17 inches. The situation is there is a guy out there that saw me catch all these and he is telling people they are all dinks  and I don't think he knows what he was talking about if you don't know please I work in a job that does not need the publicity of this if you don't believe me look at the post of my saugeye from indian on the saugeye forum and if you have a problem with me please tell me to my face not to your buddies cause yes I know alot of ice fishermen and it got back to me less then 3 hours after I was home I debated putting this here but I can't figure out why this guy does this and from others I was told he does this to others also so I will keep fishing and just have fun and if the guy that did this wants to talk to me you know where I fish so come over and hopefully talk and sort this out

Caught this 20 incher at Indian in the same area as yesterday and caught 2 more with it The big one had a 2 1/2 inch shad in its stomach

here is a pic of a crappie I caught at Indian at 530 at night and got home to late to post for this week this thing was 13 1/2 inches long and 6 inches top to bottom it came on A swedish pimple #3 gold with go;d prism on one side in six feet of water

Used one of your vertical jigs and hammered the crappies on indian on friday caught 23 nice ones on a black and silver jig you make and tipped with 2 spikes
