Title: Buckeye Tomorrow Afternoon
Post by: triton189 on January 23, 2011, 06:48:36 PM
I am going to try Buckeye for the first time tomorrow afternoon. Anyone else going to be out? I have a customer I have to visit in the area so should be on the ice around 1:00 and will fish until evening.

Hello Dave,

I went to Fairfield beach and checked it out but did not go. Not many fishing and I forgot my finder. I hit Alum yesterday afternoon for the first time. Didn't catch much but it was fun to try a new lake.

Can anyone give me some pointers for Buckeye Lake. I will be down next weekend in the area for a anniversary party and want to fish a new lake. Was hoping for Saugeye spots but a lowdown on the lake would be great as I never fished it before. We are positive we are going to fish Buckeye b/c it is only about ten minutes away from the party and the closest lake, therefore giving us the most time to fish, so any help on this lake would be great. I have a vexilar fl-18 and an Aqua Vu. Is it even worth while to bring the camera?? Its an old black and white model. Thanks
