Fished the island this past weekend and had a blast. Got my limit in 2 hours sat. and things were slower sun but still had fun. I cant wait to get back up there.

Did you go with a guide? How deep and what was your hot bait.

Yes, I went out with John Hageman and fished in 31' of water. It seemed everybody was using something different. Got my fish on a Nils Master blue and silver shad. John was using a black/silver Nils next to me and was hitting them also. Stayed at the Getaway B&B. Nikki is realy nice.

John is a great guide also.I have never stayed at Nikki's.

Hopefully i will get up there this year.
