Went out for 5 hours at the first pull off at long Island Ice was 3 inches and was very milky looking caught about 35 fish with only 5 being keepers had to really work to get fish to bite best color was navy blue but after 4 it was green and white doing the most jigs tipped with wax worm I was in 4ft of water and fish would come off bottom

Dan that's good to hear, I'm working as I type this and won't get out. Hopefully after this warm snap the cold sets back in and I can get out soon.

Supposed to turn cold again wednesday and stay pretty cold. I think the key will be night time temps... I fish mosquito mainly, so I still have a bit to wait, but very excited for this early season!!!!!!!!
