Title: Ice Locks

Has anyone used these? I think they keep the hole from freezing? Maybe for tip ups? Lots of questions. Pleas fill me in on what Ice locks or Ice Loks are. Thanks.

After posting this I tried to look up ice locks and found no results- may be thinking of something else here. basically it goes in side your open ice fishing hole and looks like it clamps on to the sides and has a bar that cuts right through the middle of the hole. Maybe to keep the hole open? not sure- have seen it in ads but don't remmber where? Can't find it on Cabelas or BPS.

they are used to support your shanty in high winds, last weeks outdoor news has an article on them
