has anybody had a chance to check it today (7th) ? I never ice fished this lake and i'm dying to try it, haven't fished it in over 20yrs. so I'm not sure which cove is the campground and which is c-5. when looking at the map is campground to the north or south of the camp itself ? and is c-5 along the east shore as well ? thanks for any help JON

I was on a small cove off of lansinger and had 5 3/4 today that's 3/4 more than yesterday, CLR cove was 3".walked ten feet away and the spud went thru with ease

just a head's up for those interested. the outdoor channel is airing linders fishing edge about ice fishing for channel cats, tonight at 6 and again tomorrow am at 9.

Anyone pop a hole over on congress lake yet think it will be good by saturday
I popped a hole off end of the dock at congress. spud bar went right thru, if it's good on Saturday i'll be surprised. especially if we get the snow they're forecasting

was there today around 4:00 spud went right thru off the docks at CLR and boat house, drove around west end and there's ALOT of open water, also open water west side of CLR at causeway, sorry for the bad new's JON

was there at noon today (29th) still locked up, had about an inch at congress dock, only open water I seen was under rt43 bridge, i'm gonna try wed's as well, will post conditions when I get there, what ever you do... DO NOT walk straight out from ramp toward's channel there's a marker on the causeway showing pipe location.

I've been thru all the usgs sights and everything inbetween, tried looking for old survey maps from before the lake was made, NO LUCK, I did find out that lake hodgson used to be named muddy lake back in the 1800's, i'm going to try ksu's map library when they open after x-mas break
