Title: Erie Ice Forecast?

Been watchin the boards all day waiting to see a post about what the ice looks like and hopeful to hear from some experienced Erie Icemen about what the future of this years ice fishing season looks like.  If I could get in just one more safe day on the ice.......

The ice condition will depend on whether they get wind and rain. The warm weather will erode the edges and the melting snow will too. Won't be long and it will be unsafe to get on it. If ti is going to go, hope it goes quick so I can get the boat up there.

Ice out of Catawba was fine today 3-9 . No serious cracks. Was getting quite slushy on the way in.  Lots of slush and water very soon.
