Thank you for the update Grant!   That truly is awesome news.  So glad he’s recovering so well and so quickly!   He’ll be on his feet in not time at this rate.  👍🏻
I’m so happy for him and Cathy!

That’s great news.  The swallowing will come back with time.   He had the vent in there for a long time.  It’s so encouraging to hear he’s making progress so quickly now.   It probably doesn’t seem like it, but this is great progress.  Thanks for the updates!

For sure.  I was terrified that was going to be it.  I lost my uncle in a similar way in November.  I’m so happy Bobby is doing so well given what he went through.  So thankful he has a good support team in Cathy and his medical staff!

Thank you for the good news.   Overall sounds mostly positive!   He’s sure had to overcome a lot!  Some of the little weird happenings may never be figured out.   I still have some fog, shortness of breath, and an accelerated heart once in a while and I had Covid in late 2020 and was no where as sick as Bobby was.  But docs say I’m “fine” and not to be concerned.   Bobby is a fighter, he may not get back to 100% of where he was pre Covid, but he’s on the proper side of the dirt!  And he doesn’t have to worry about dragging a shanty around in the ice!!   ;D   Can’t wait till he gets to come home and continue his recovery process, even though I know it’ll be a little while.

I sure hope so!  We still haven't gotten to get our Wilcraft together yet on the ice.   Gotta happen next season!

Man that sucks.   Glad you did t get hurt worse 58.  And it wasn’t even on the ice.  We tend to be more careful out there!    ;D

Nice you made it up there Rik.   Always fun to wet the first soft water line of the year!

Unfortunately I agree.   It will be done this week for sure.  Last week was the end for me.  I’ll be getting the pm’s ready for prizes.   We’re doubling up this year and last.   So if you had entries both years, you’ll get 2 prizes at once.

Agreed!   Did a lot of walking and driving on hard water this season.  It was great!!   It did feel more normal!  I loved it!!

Same here.   I don’t anything we get will last or be safe.   Already washed and have my gear cleaned for the year.   I got out a lot too and am already excited for next season!

Unfortunately I agree.   It made it through last week, but I don’t think I’ll push my luck any more this year.  At least not for a few days.   Walked my float suit last night.  Was a good year, got the Wilcraft out and caught some nice big fish!

Yes.  A friend of mine is on Nimi now.   He said 8” in some places.   But some areas are soft and you’ll need to spud everywhere.   Edges are kinda soft.   But he didn’t need a plank.
