Title: Alum Creek Today
Post by: davidhoheisel on October 09, 2011, 11:48:36 PM
I was able to get out for an hour tonight. I was jigging a Vibe and caught a small Saugeye in about 16ft of water.

There was a guy using a minnow about ten inches from the bottom and he caught a 2lb saugeye and a few nice crappies.

Good deal David.
Was that eye from the boat docks or one of the ramps?  I may be getting out tomorrow with a buddy from work on his boat so any info on where to start would be great.  I may suggest we try the spot out front of the marina on those fingers.

It was off the docks.

Went there today with Ratherbefishing and the crappies were on fire.

We had about a dozen over 9.5 and one went 10.75. No Saugeyes.

Good luck and keep us posted.
