In the last couple of days Ive caught a few perch that are really peppered. Does anyone know what it is and if you can still eat them?

I've seen a saugeye that was all messed up from Indian Lake too. I didn't even want to handle it, so I sure as heck wouldn't want to clean and eat it. We're talking jacked on a totally different level than a few critters hanging out inside a gill.
