Last year I bought all kinds of gear that I never got to use.  I picked up a new one man shanty, a camera, a couple of old "little green box" flashers" (one I gave to my brother), an UL rod, a walleye rod, and quite a few new lures. I'm also hoping to pick up a black betty combo tomorrow.  I'm dying to use every last bit of it too.  With the way my car is running right now, I'm not sure how good my season is going to be.  I might have to try and hitch a ride or something.

I also want to try some new jig/fly combos I tied up this fall for ice fishing.  We'll see how they work

If the ice gets thick enough, you will.  I had guys offering to pay me to drill them holes 3 years back when the ice was 12-16 inches thick on Nimisila.
