Title: Marcum VX1 Pro or Hummingbird Ice 35
Post by: Evinrude58 on November 01, 2013, 06:38:22 PM
Considering buying a Marcum VX1 Pro or a Hummingbird Ice 35. Has anyone used one of these units? If so, what do you think of it?

I have never used the Marcum but I am sure they are a good unit. The Humminbird 35's are not bad either but I did find that when fishing in deep water that i had to turn up the gain to see my ice jig.

Have you looked at the Vexilars?

Dont overlook the lowrance ice units. Used the M68C last season and loved it so i bought the Elite 5 ice machine this year for the bigger screen. Had it out in the boat with me last week and marked some spots for the ice. Go to you tube and watch some of the videos.
