I just drove by Kiser and there was ice on the east side and a long the north side.

Just watched a video from Loramie on Facebook. It said the whole lake is covered. Looked like  almost an inch of ice where he checked. Should be fishable by the middle of the week

checked indian a hour ago, rain mix last nite did rid the lake of snow but its slushy on top of the ice found 1.5 to 2 inches under the slush, checked several locations. my guess by mid to end of week should be walkable. be safe and cautious!!

just a little chatter about first ice ,   its funny  the colder it gets the hotter the site gets..  i may have to move my original guess from 1 st week in jan   to any time  ....right?

Yeah you can safely say that there will be ice somewhere between the chatter starting and it stopping sometime in late Winter/Early Spring...
