What gives you confidence??

Is there a special lure, rod, reel, or something else that gives you confidence on the ice? It seems like we all have something.
I have 2 things: 1-my bluegill belt buckle (never been skunked or fallen in wearing it) 2-rainbow tungsten gill pill. Seems I can always catch something on it even when nothing else works!

From the boat, flipping a crawl bait, ice , it has to be the vex, not showing anything I tend to move or lose interest , something shows up, I tend to fish harder with more confidence

Hey slab im gonna have to say it starts with reports here if u see others post successful pics wether you feel your above or below the posting anglers skillset you can easily convince yourself you will also share in those sucess but for myself it all changed for me once i got real flasher unit paired with my 25 in snitch rod tungsten loving panfish beware

Tiny (2mm or less) gold tungsten with a micro plastic and a spike. Fished on my clam jason mitchel 18 in spring bobber rod with 2 lb test. If there are panfish to be caught this seems to always work for me.

I'm not sure about confidence but I really enjoy the time spent with others in fish with. To me that is better than a a bucket full of fish.
