we were out all day today. where we were had 5 good inches of ice. water is super murky.  not even a nibble :/ ice looked sketchy up at Fairfield beach. didn't look like anyone had even attempted to go out on it so we didn't try. lol

Sweet catch. u said 5" of ice ? ( I'll check it if I go to be safe ) and if u don't mind me asking which back water were u on. I have a friend that lives in harbor hills right on the lake and was hoping It was there .. I understand if u don't wanna say, some people r picky on who they tell about thier fishing spots. my buddy and I wanted to come up Thursday,  and just wanted a bit of info as it's my first time ice fishing buckeye. .. would really love getting some saugeye through the ice. any info would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance ...

Ok, looking for advice here. Never ice fished buckeye,  but really wanna try it this year. Just maybe a few tips on where to start, a decent place to catch some slab crappie and or saugeye not looking for anyone's " secret spot" lol. Just some places to have some fun catching. Any help would be awesome , thanks
