why is everyone using a vexilar when is seems to me that my grandpa had one of these on his boat years ago. wouldn't a elite five with ice tranducer be a better option??? you get a history of the fish on the page just seems better technology to me then the flasher I mean you wouldn't use your vex moving on the boat seems like the elite five is a faster unit to see what is happening??? and plus it is cheaper and color !!!!

i fish with a camera and a vex! i miss alot of smaller fish that just mouth the lure then i lift to set the hook and fish is gone what do you guys suggest i do to fix this problem of missing these fish i am using small jigs tipped with wax worms?

i am looking at a vex talked to some people that say the fl-8 is good enough what are you thinking just wondering not sure if spending the money on a fl-18 is worth it
