Sitting on 6 1/2 inches in front of boos with jsillanpaa. Caught one good 19" eye. Marked a few and we're making lots of ice still since places that are a little soft so be careful. Will be out checking harbor hills and farther out by the marsh later today and tomorrow.

I will be there too. Dad was out yesterday and said there was 5-6 and then other places had more.

Ice is any where from 5-9. up closer to shore dad found around 9" but out towards the marsh was only 5-6" mostly. So continue to check your own ice. fishing has been slow from what he said.

I would say its probly good to go for your sled this week after that cold weather. Dad will be out tomorrow when i get the report from him ill post.

have HEARD its good out that way but I would def spud your way out till you find your own safe ice. Four wheelers will be another couple days from what I heard too. Ill be out tomorrow checkin

Heading to houghton tomorrow, we fish it every year. It's a good lake lots of variety. Staying at lees resort till wensday. Gona be a good trip.

Fished the cove next to Fairfield yesterday, was sitting on about 3 inches. Was slow caught 3 wipers.out by the marsh opened up a lot while I was there.

Fished 2nd pull off at Long Island today hit the first pull off caught 2 dink gills then headed to 2nd pull off caught Abunch of small gills and couple small crappie. Ice was good 5 inches where I was.

Went out this morning to find the lake locked up but just not ready for travel yet. most everywhere was 1-2 inches but found one spot that was close to 4. Fished that spot for about 2 hours and didnt mark or catch a thing. A lot of good ice and little snow cover so might be out a little farther this weekend.

people were on 1st 2nd and 3rd pull offs yesterday. talked to a guy on the 3rd and he said it wasnt ready but still guys fishing it.

Fished the first pull off on log island from 2 to 7. Caught lots of bluegill, some perch ,crappie and 3 largemouths. Had almost 4 inches of ice
