I picked up my black betty combo today. It's a 27" UL with the black betty reel. The rod has a nice quick tip, but still has some good back bone. Last year I picked up an UL combo from frabil, but it has almost no back bone at all. I also picked up some sufix 832 ice braid. I think the line is new this year. I love the 832 braid on my open water setups, so I hope it's just as good on the ice.
