We fished out of Catawba slow fishing. I got 2 on saturday a 5 lb and 8 lb. Sunday was a little better, I ended up with a 5, 7, 9, and a 11lb and my buddy got a 5 and 9 lb. We fished about 2.5 miles NW. of State park. Gold and green # 6 pimple got fish. Tough traveling conditions on ice. What a mess. Fished in 21-24 fow, we didnt mark many fish but the ones we marked hit good.

Congrats on your personal best..............

Thank you, it beat my previous best by about 10 ounces. Maybe next weekend I can ice a 12lb. At least that is what keeps me going back up there. We all know when we are on Erie that we are sitting on top of some real trophy fish. Thankful to be able to ice fish one of the best walleye fisheries in North America.

Good report! I have heard really good things over there but more west!

Maybe next weekend we'll all catch fish. Nice going on a tough bite for sure!

Head due West out of Catawba about 2 miles and there are plenty of fish there . The guys running North have had a slower bite the past week or so .

Thanks Tomb, yes Im hoping this weekend we can get on some fish. I think Tim and I just got lucky the fish we marked hit, because we sure didnt mark many fish. Crane seems to be better now as far as quanity of fish. My buddy went out yesterday with his buddys they got their limits by 10:30 at Crane. So might try over there.
