Title: 2-14 windy
Post by: mazak500 on February 14, 2015, 05:29:09 PM
Sure hope everyone made it in safe. I had a heck of a time from 5 miles out of catawba. My friends UTV kept breaking through to slush. White out and my lowrance on my sled lost GPS signal. Luckily my phone and navionics got us in. Fished till 10am and got 2 fish

Thanks for the report. Skipped Saturday but did well Friday and today. Ice conditions have not changed much lately.

Did the wind break the ice up any out of csp? Any shoves or cracks? I have not been out this year yet and am just wondering if it is safe after the big blow.

Hey thanks for the reply I am off this week and would like to try to get out a time or two. I was just wondering about the ice because I am walking and don't wanna make a long walk and find a crack and have to turn back. Thanks again!!!
