Title: Mosquito 12-19-2010
Post by: Eyewall on December 20, 2010, 07:52:47 AM
I fished out from Lindas North of the causeway from 1 pm to 5 pm and managed 12 crappies with about 7 of them being nice slabs. I fished in 12 feet of water using small forage minnow tipped with a minnow. Ice is around 4". The fishing seems to be started out slow but should pick up. I was out about 1/2 mile from the baitshop Northwest to island.

The Walleyes have been hard to come by but Crappies, Gills, and Northren Pike seem plentiful as with years past. There have been reports of some really nice size perch taken. I hope to be out this Friday, Saturday, And Sunday. Im still planning on going out from Lindas, I want to try to hit some numbers that have been productive in the past on Walleyes. Good fishing.......

I seen a shanty on the south end when I was going over the damn. It looked like they were out from the 305 launch area.
