The new weather.com forecast stinks. It will maintain what we have after the hot weekend but doubt it will build any. I hate the in-between, too much ice for a boat not enough to fish off of. I guess I will go shoot some ducks.

I hate that period too, worst time of the year.  I have to look at the positive, we got some ice and I did get a very large crappie.  I think the ice will return late January and February will be very cold.

im with you guys this in between time makes me nuts , but i too believe the ice will be back.. but maybe i should go shoot some ducks,,,i have a butt load of decoys i dont use anymore, maybe shoot the ice so i can fish thru it hahahahahaaaaaahhaha

My dad lives in Wisconsin and he said they have 14+ in of ice man this makes me wanna move back home just so I can ice fish for more then a month.

I've been wanting to go to Saginaw Bay but I'm not going until its safe enough to ride a quad on. I guess a road trip to Houghton Lake, MI would work. Anyone wana go?

This is usually the time we go to lake mille lacs  and stay in a fish house at macs twin bay,i sure wish i would have made resevations this year!
