taking today and tomorrow off work to get the ice craze off my mind, but I would like a little report on the conditions of the ice. No need to tell me where you're fishing but in general, ice condition would be appreciated

well I got my own report from a guy who lives on the channel, ice is bad at best is what he's telling me, some places 2-3" and other areas less than an inch. Spud bar all the way out and back with safety gear and a friend, he did catch 2 walleye yesterday but no crappie. I wont be on the lake until 4pm tonight, change of plans, but will be on it early tomorrow.
