Title: Northern Pike in NE Ohio
Post by: MEKlukow on October 28, 2015, 09:18:02 PM
Which lakes are usually best for Northern pike through the ice in Northeastern Ohio? And what sort of setup works well? I know I'll need a stronger rod for this and would love recommendations! Any and all tips appreciated -- this is my first year going after pike!!!

I don't believe NE Ohio is to well known for pike, but I have heard the Tuscarawas river,Cuyahoga river, mosquito reservoir and Atwood dam and bolivar dam, seem to stick out in my mind. Correct me if I'm wrong fellow icemen. Hope this helps!

Bolivar dam has then. Just lost 2 the other night. And I know Atwood does too. Caught then there as well.
