Title: 2013 Sled
Post by: futurestrader on March 04, 2012, 11:32:50 PM
Here are the pictures of the new sled.  Lumber cost was $8 and spent $8 in varnish and $5 on the pull rope.  Summer project is to add foam seating and a backrest for the kids.  I had to make this sled versatile so it could be pulled behind my ATV and very durable if going out on Erie or carrying fellow fisherman yet light enough to be able to go out on an inland lake by myself to pull by hand.  All parts can be removed and the box to carry all the gear can be flipped over on the ice to double as a bench to fish off of.  The found the skis on craigslist for free and it rides about six inches off of the ground in case there is snowpack.  I just spray the bottom of the skis with silcone spray to glide them up.

Great Sled and pitures Erierider!

I resized a few so when you expand them they fit the screen. For best viewing i would resize them to 480 by 480. I use a free site call www.resizepic.com (http://www.resizepic.com).

Thanks for posting!
