Indian Lake / Re: Indian 12/24 and 25

I was scouting conditions today and didn't like what I saw. There is still alot of ice left and it's 2.5 inches in alot of places but it's total garbage, full of tiny air bubbles and very weak. I walked to the end of the barge by long island bridge, hit the ice with a 2×4 and it easily went through 3 inches with 1 good strike.

Took a buddy who has only ice fished once before sunday. We walked off at 2pm with 60 keepers. That makes my 10th limit this winter.

I been fishing the north side of the lake.  If you are catching a few expand you hones in all directions because you are likely close to the X and it has appeared the a 10 by 10 yard area is where the bulk are hanging. Good luck

Flasher plays a big roll, also helps that I'm as A D D as they come. If I'm not marking or catching much I'm moving and drilling til I find something to keep my attention.

Found the school early Saturday mourning and got some buddies out. 3 man limit with 2 over 14 an 2 just under. Most all  caught on tiny jigs with spikes or mousies. I went back Sunday and pulled another limit but had to work and move alot.

Not on the east side. Mikes and lakeside pro bass are on the west side and there is a shop just west of moundwood but never been in there cause it seems as though they are always closed.

If it's black it's 95% likely it's a mora. Should be able to get a set for 15 to 20

I think I'm going to take the st.marys challenge and try to find some crappie. I have limited out on Indian the last 4 days I fished Indian but am sick of guys watching you nail them then setting up in one of your holes and hearing them on the phone calling all their friends and spilling the beans. I want some virgin ice!
