We had the first freezing temps (29F) lastnight at Infian Lake.....looking forwards to at least 4 weeks at 20F soon!
-
Grand Lake St Marys got our first frost of the year and also had 29F. Vexilar batteries are charged and ready to go. This will probably jinx the season.

I haven't organized my gear yet, probably sometime in November.....

That's my game plan for this weekend

All my batteries are charged, but no gear is organized. Auger was started and tested, but the addition of a bunch of lures and rod/reel combos means I have to reorganize everything and I haven’t gotten there yet. Hopefully over thanksgiving weekend or it’ll be a crazy winter fishing out of plastic giant eagle bags!

The Friday, November 10, 2017 forecast looks good for the Grand Lake St. Marys area - low of 23 and high of 34. Get that water cooled down so we can start walking on top!

Dust & Cob Webs still on the ice gear., starting to think about taking a look at the rods & tackle.
