when you get to Rt 70, go EAST 1.5 miles to the first exit, ( on the way youll see Gander Mtn on the left) get off at the first exit, turn left across interstate, take first left into shopping center and kep going left down long access road to Gander, they have live bait and about everything youll need, also have a decent Ice fishing selection although its been pretty wiped out by now. took this guy this afternoon, about 10.5", took a few others between 9-10 and a few smaller gills so it was a decent day on a local pond, Jig and spike, also I printed form around noon today, still has last weeks dates on it??  Salmonid

Fished a large public park pond today near Dayton and 3 us us struggled to find fish ( 2 different shanties, I was loner) they stayed in 1 spot most of the day with a 15.5" LM Bass and 1 nice gill so they camped on it while i moved at least a dozen times to find some fish, after 11 moves, I hadnt marked a fish or seen any with camera and vex. Last hole slowly produced some nice fish for me as I picked up in 17 FOW, with a small blue rocker jig and tipped with 2-3 spikes, 8 gills from 8.5 to 9.25" and 3 bass, 15", 16" and 17.75" so it turned out to be a nice trip bu the first 6 hrs without even seeing a fish was quite frustrating. Ok, good news for me, Ill be there with a buddy around 7:00 or a little after. Also Im bringing enough Goldfish crackers and several types of potato chips to feed a small army.
Looking forward to meeting a bunch of folks on here!
Will be in a Clam 2000, ( formerly owned by BANKER) Which reminds me I need to make a new name tag for the Shanty.

Thats right banker, we often fish tip ups with cut shad on them for cats while we are jigging around for panfish. Maybe you just talked me into bringing some of mine for saturdays event.....  Salmonid

Tentatively ill be there but a little later, like 9:00 since i gotta work a few hrs in the AM. I am new to the IFO.com gatherings, any thing i need to bring besides my stuff? any Black Elephant gift exchanges? food contributions for a lunch? etc.
Jason, Ill have an open seat in my shanty, your welcome to use it, or better if you you bring your own chair, my buckets get rough towards the end of the day... PM me if your interested, I have Vex, augers etc.
