Yeah, the itch has started and getting worse. I had Tuesday (Nov 26) and Weds (Nov 27) off, so I'm doing "Honey-Do's", while mulling over plans for the upcoming ice season.
After inside chores and shovelling snow, I'll break out the ice rods and tackle to check over, repair and replace. Tackle needs sorted & reorganize. Looking at lake maps, replacing auger blades, setting up the shanty are all part of getting ready before walkin on the hardwater and drillin holes.
This morning's snow doesnt help ice formation, but it's certainly better than 40 degree plus temps.
