Has anyone checked the ice on the lake yet?
-
I havent checked it personally but I would imagine that its not even close, witht the water down the way it is I dont know how good it will even freeze. Its kind of turned it into a river again. I will probably go over next weekend and drive around it and see what I can see. I will keep this updated

Just got back from the lake. A hair over 3 off of the south corner of the main marina. It has some slope to it. If you can find a cove with water in it I would say you can fish. The fuel pump dock is sitting on solid ground.

Is this winter pool level or did they draw it down for something else?

supposed to be down for ramp repairs. It is a good 6-10ft below winter pool

down 13 feet from winter pool. They are doing ramp repairs much like they did at alum last year. I was in what is usually 16 FOW went through the ice hit bottom and now I am shopping for Auger blades.

I thought the water level was lower than average for this season, turns out I was right, the water level is about 10' lower than normal. Haven't been on Delaware in a little over a week (I jump from lake to lake) but I'll probably make a trip out after the weekend, maybe Sunday but most likely Monday!
