Yesterday Bobberbucket Dave & I took 'newbies" out on the ice for a few hours. (Both of us fished separately and at different waterways).

It's always nice to introduce new ice fisherman to our cold water sport.

Granted, I don't fish as strongly when I bring someone, but nonetheless, it's a pleasure to show someone new the nuances of fishing in cold weather conditions.

All of us "Frigid Fisherman" need to do this more often., including me.
We Ice Fisherman are all highly addicted, shivering psychotic patients in the frozen asylum of the frigid"

It was a very fulfilling experience John. & I agree it’s something that should happen more often. Sometimes I feel like I get wrapped up in chasing fish to the point it’s almost like work. We had a tough bite going where we were at but still managed a few decent fish. The look on my new friends face when he pulled his first fish through the ice immediately made it the best trip I’ve had all season. Can’t wait to do it again!
