I also had a great time meeting everyone that in itself was worth the 3+hr drive. definatly wish the fish would have cooperated better.

after lunch my cousin and i went to cranberry with a couple other guys. within 15 min of setting up i had a 18in cat on a dead stick but lost him at the hole. my couisin caught a 15 saugeye a few minutes later, had a big fish hooked for a couple seconds and caught a 20in cat. both of us marked a good amount of fish and had a few lookers.

thanks again to everyone that was involved with the whole thing it was great to meet everyone!!

my neighbor and I had a 100+ fish day today. 10-12 keeper perch, 10-15 keeper gills, most of the crappie were caught between 9-11am with a couple gills and perch mixed in. stayed steady thru the day, every 5-15min some fish would come thru, and you would get 1-2. gills were hard to convince to bite would always come for a close look but not commit. on anything... with the crappie and perch you would have to run thru the play book till you find what excites them.

I LOVE SIGHT FISHING!!!!     HOT LURE....FORAGE MINNOW (holo-gram minnow on one side and glow on the backside, TIPPED WITH MAGGOTS ON EACH HOOK. i never changed, my buddy went thru his tackle box twice. he tried sweedish pimples, buckshots, and some other types of jigging spoons. i still out fished him 2 to 1

we moved around 9 and drilled three holes, flipped the shanty over and cleaned out the holes to find fish from top to bottom! 40+ fish in around 30 min

P.S. ALSO CAUGHT A 19in BASS THAT WEIGHED 4 OR MORE POUNDS
best morning i have had in a long time!!!

I got out there about 1-1:30, caught 20-25, 16 keepers (2 perch the rest gills). started really slow. picked up the last hour, on fire the last 15min before dark. tried a little bit of everything ended with a pinmin that is chartruse glow on one side and red glow on the other, seemed like they perfered the red glow charged up, it was hard to get them to bite when the glow was weak. when i charged it they would hit it hard and quick. also if you could keep your line down there the fish would stick around. if you caught a fish and had to re-bait before getting your line back down the fish would leave. saw a lot of of fish swimming, quite a few perch. getting them to bite was a little hard, you just had to throw the book of tricks at them to see what each interested fish wanted... used maggots and waxies mostly

I was out there with you guys yesterday morning. i was the first one out there, i was in a 12ft pocket to the east of the group by a hundred yards or so. i lost coun't of how many i caught (easy 30+) all undersized except 2. i got set up by 6:30 and started catching right away. very aggressive bite while it was dark. it didn't matter what size minnow you put down the hole they would come flying off the bottom and meet it at 6-7ft and slam it! slowed down a little bit after day light but i continued to catch fish consistantly, then i looked down my hole and couldn't believe i could see my bait @12ft, so i turned off the electronics and sight fished and caught another 10 or so crappie and a gill. then i went to the south side of the group  drilled a few holes till i marked some fish, set up and sight fished some more and caught a couple more crappie and a couple big gills. then i went to find some weeds in the shallows waste if my time and effort, there are no weeds in that lake i swear. i went into a cove and drilled a hole close to shore and expected to see weeds, there was nothing in 3 fow and less.

next time out i'm gonna go try the deep water and see if i can catch better sized fish.. i had a great time catching just wished they were a lil bigger. was home by 12:30.
